Two Products, One Name

1. Plush “loofah” dog toys. The best-known example is Multipet’s Loofa Dog, which major retailers list as a squeaky plush dog toy with a built-in squeaker. It is a sewn fabric toy; the “loofah” in the name refers to the look, not to plant fibre.

2. Real loofah fibre toys. Dried fibre from loofah gourds, cut and shaped into a toy. This is what WINVN PetToys makes, and our shapes are designed as cat toy shapes.

What Real Loofah Fibre Is

Loofah gourds are grown in the western provinces of Vietnam and harvested at 6–9 months old. Each gourd goes through the same steps: harvest, wash, dry, shape, assemble — with no chemicals at any stage. The finished product is plain dried loofah fibre. A small amount of natural catnip is available on request for the cat toy shapes, most commonly for the Mouse.

Why the Naming Matters for Your Listing

A buyer who types “loofah dog toy” and receives a dried-fibre cat toy will be confused; a buyer who wants a natural-fibre cat toy and receives plush will be disappointed.
